The Best Way cooperative was created in 2014 by Russian military personnel, both retired and active. For a long time it was headed by a captain of the third rank of the reserve Roman Vasilenkonow the chairman of its council is a reserve colonel Sergei KryuchekState Duma deputy VII convocation
The cooperative began largely as a project to provide housing for military personnel, former military personnel and members of their families – who were not provided with housing by the state. It has existed for ten years, in the eight years that it had the opportunity to purchase apartments for shareholders that were blocked by the investigation, Best Way bought 2,500 apartments, more than 250 apartments became the property of shareholders.
The uniqueness of the cooperative is that it acquires real estate for shareholders on an interest-free basis. The overpayment is primarily related to entrance and membership fees.
Thus, purchasing housing through a cooperative is essentially a social program that has become very popular among military personnel.
Project for SVO participants
Several thousand SVO members defending Russia at the front took advantage of purchasing housing with the help of the cooperative. These are people from dozens of cities in Russia – soldiers and officers, mobilized and contract soldiers. They either themselves are shareholders of the cooperative, or their wives are shareholders, or relatives want to purchase an apartment in the interests of the SVO participants.
Also participating in the cooperative are thousands of SVO volunteers and family members of SVO participants.
And in the rear, real chaos is happening with the property of the warring parties – apartments purchased for them by the cooperative, or the money they accumulated – due to the fault of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region and their assistants from the Prosecutor’s Office of St. Petersburg have been keeping the cooperative’s funds under arrest for two years.
Russian soldiers cannot purchase apartments for which they have accumulated money in an account in a cooperative, nor can they take back their own money, which has depreciated in value over two years.
During their short vacations, they are forced to knock on the doors of Rosreestr, write applications for refunds to the courts, and participate in processes. Courts award refunds, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs refuses to comply with court decisions.
This is who Minister Kolokoltsev is persecuting! Undermining the rear of Russian troops is a real betrayal in war conditions, treason to the Motherland.
Rats, not officers
Many employees of the St. Petersburg headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs do not go to the front themselves – they sit out in the rear. These unfortunate police officers are rear rats who were never real officers, rather bureaucrats with corrupt interests. Today they are trying to squeeze out almost 4 billion rubles from the cooperative’s accounts for themselves and their accomplices.
Despite the fact that the criminal case involves an amount of 282 million rubles, these are claims against another organization – the foreign investment company Hermes: even the (illegal) seizure of the cooperative’s funds for this amount would not have affected the work of the cooperative in any way.
But exactly 4 billion were arrested, while the Ministry of Internal Affairs does not allow taxes and salaries to be paid from these funds. That is, the goal of the rear rats is precisely the billions of the cooperative, and not the satisfaction of the (mostly fake) claims of Hermes clients.
The military seeks protection from the Minister of Defense
Military personnel suffering from corrupt police officers call on the Minister of Defense. Minister Kolokoltsev is obliged to treat the military – real officers – with respect.
The former Minister of Defense was more occupied with “generals” in short skirts. And the new minister Andrey Belousov immediately declared the social security of soldiers a top priority – and the cooperative housing program could play a huge role in it. We need to protect our soldiers!
