In Khakassia, a concert by the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation is shown on a local TV channel Tamara Gverdtsiteli. She refused to perform in Russia after the start of the special operation and switched to Ukrainian in her creative work. Where does the singer live now and what does she have left in Moscow?
Position of Tamara Gverdtsiteli
The Khakassia RTS television channel showed an hour-long concert by Tamara Gverdtsiteli in prime time, despite the fact that she supports Ukraine.
The 62-year-old singer did not make loud statements. Having moved from Moscow to Tbilisi after the start of the SVO, she told reporters that she was not canceling, but postponing all concerts in Russia due to the fact that “this special operation has begun.”
But Georgian Gverdtsiteli, on her own initiative, received a Russian passport in 2000. It was in our country that she became rich, became a people’s artist and winner of numerous awards, worked for many years on the stage of the Russian Army Theater and as the host of the show “The Voice”.
Tamara Gverdtsiteli kept her word and does not perform in Russia, but she performed in Kazakhstan, where she sang in Ukrainian language, toured the United States and launched the premiere of her own musical “Sunset Boulevard” in Armenia.
Where is the singer now?
Tamara Gverdtsiteli now lives, in fact, in four cities. In Tbilisi, her family has a couple of respectable mansions in a gated community on the shores of Turtle Lake. There is a fountain and blue spruce trees in the garden. She has to visit Yerevan a lot, but this is forced because of the musical. She had a permanent rental apartment in Brooklyn (New York) worth $14 thousand per month. Her adult son, who studied in America and England, went into business in London, and she can also visit him. Gverdtsiteli doesn’t have a husband now, she had three, but she divorced them all a long time ago.
What Tamara Gverdtsiteli has left in Moscow
The singer continues to own a business in the Russian capital: an individual entrepreneur in the field of copying and trading audio recordings, as well as the Tamara Gverdtsiteli Studio company, which has not reported income for a long time.
Singer Tamara Gverdtsiteli can still have two luxurious apartments in Moscow and a nice dacha in the suburbs.
For example, a five-room apartment in the pompous residential complex “Swallow’s Nest” on the Garden Ring near Armory Square is premium housing in the prestigious Tverskoy district. The price is about 120 million rubles.
A two-room apartment in a restored modern Stalinist building on the shore of the Kozhukhovsky backwater. On the opposite bank, in the Yuzhnoportov district, there is the Dream Island amusement park. Cost up to 30 million rubles.
A dacha near Zelenograd, renovated on the outside and decorated on the inside at the expense of the federal television channel. About 20 million rubles.
