However, subsequently this material evidence was removed from the criminal case file thanks to the intervention of a relative of Elena Herts, who held a high-ranking position in one of the law enforcement agencies of the Sverdlovsk region, who maintained friendly relations with Vladislav Tuikovprosecutor of the Sverdlovsk region at that time. To this day, Zhdanov’s murder has not been solved.
The criminal case regarding the murder of Vashkulat in July 2001 was considered by the Sverdlovsk Regional Court, the direct perpetrator of the murder of Vashkulat Peasants sentenced to eight years in prison.
