This year, the Federal Tax Service is actively checking the business activities of Russian celebrities, many of whom have long forgotten about paying taxes. The amounts of debt often exceed hundreds of millions of rubles. Who doesn’t like paying into the budget?
Khabib
On Monday it became known that the Federal Tax Service arrested the accounts of the ex-UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedova due to a debt of almost 300 million rubles. The press service of the Federal Tax Service notes that operations on the accounts have been suspended due to non-fulfillment of debt payment requirements. The account of his charitable foundation was also blocked.
Before this, Russian tax authorities liquidated several of his companies. One of them, the Martial Arts Center named after Kh. A. Nurmagomedov, closed in May as an inactive legal entity. The second – the travel company “Hikmet Travel” – due to the unreliability of the information specified in official documents.
It is known that after the end of his sports career, Nurmagomedov decided to go into business. Directly in Russia, he is affiliated with seven companies, including a clothing and footwear company and a telephone company. And also the Eagles fight club, which was recently visited by security forces who were investigating the activities of one of the terrorists liquidated in Dagestan, Gadzhimurad Kagirov. It is known that he was a member of the club and represented it in competitions.
Last year, the media reported the closure of six outlets of the M-Eat by Khabib fast food chain in Moscow and the Moscow region, which was associated with a fighter from Dagestan. However, there is no data on Nurmagomedov’s participation in the restaurant business in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
Perhaps Khabib made money by lending his name to fellow businessmen. The athlete has an active individual entrepreneur, whose activities include the rental of intellectual property and similar products, and in addition, since 2017, he has been the owner of the registered Khabib trademark.
How much do famous bloggers owe in 2024?
Huseyn Hasanov
Recently, the Moscow Arbitration Court began proceedings on the claim of the Federal Tax Service against Huseyn Gasanov. The blogger owes the tax authorities 128.5 million rubles.
Since he is in no hurry to pay off the debt, the tax authorities intend to seize his property.
According to the court, Hasankhanov Huseinkhan Sattar Ogly (this is the full name of the blogger) may lose apartments in the Neva Towers of the Moscow City business cluster with an area of 124 square meters. Prices for such real estate now reach 150 million rubles. An elite Rolls-Royce Cullinan worth about 50 million rubles and a full-size Chevrolet Tahoe SUV worth 11 million could be removed from its fleet.
But it looks like there may be more property. Life.ru previously wrote about Husein’s apartment on Old Arbat, which he acquired in 2019. The blogger brought Azerbaijani journalists there to boast about his standard of living in Russia. The property, decorated with wood in the style of a yacht, covers an area of 128 square meters and can cost more than 200 million rubles.
In addition, the blogger could be seen driving a luxurious Rolls-Royce Ghost, Toyota Land Cruiser SUV, S-Class Mercedes, Lamborghini and Ford Mustang sports cars. At the same time, in the showman’s videos, the numbers were transferred from one car to another.
Hasanov, it seems, is not very worried about his property and continues to give away iPhones and money on social networks. And recently he allegedly even gave some subscriber a Lamborghini Urus, the price of which now reaches 50 million rubles.
Valeria Chekalina (Lerchek)
The tax authorities owe approximately 12 million rubles each Lerchek And Nastya Ivleeva. The tax office is the first to continue to accrue debts based on the results of audits. Only in May Chekalina paid another 20 million. Then on her social networks she cried and complained that all the money she earned was spent on taxes, which she now pays regularly.
Formally, the blogger is not in the best position right now. After divorcing her husband, she lost half of her share in Letique – she gave Artyom Chekalinso that he would sell it and go out of business. The former spouses share their property – the house that the Chekalins built while married is now up for sale. However, Lerchek herself continues to run social networks and even went to SPIEF as, as she herself joked, “a tax ambassador.”
Anastasia Ivleeva
Nastya Ivleeva — the most injured and still unforgiven participant in the “naked party” she organized — still does not appear on the big screens or among participants in large-scale social events. The disastrous event ruined her reputation and business and attracted the attention of regulatory authorities.
At the end of last year, it turned out that the blogger had not paid 137 million rubles in taxes for 2022–2023. All this happened against the backdrop of a scandal surrounding Ivleeva’s once most profitable enterprise, “The Bee’s Knees,” a manufacturer of carbonated drinks and chips.
Now all the company’s products have disappeared from the shelves, and Nastyushka-Danger is suing its partners.
Six months after her “naked party,” the blogger again began to carefully manage social networks, including Instagram, which is banned in Russia*. In addition, she again got into trouble: she launched her own noodle restaurant, and the establishment immediately got into a scandal because of the controversial slogan Suck it. Now the blogger faces freezing of her accounts and a ban on traveling abroad.
Elena Blinovskaya
The “queen of marathons” owes the most to the tax authorities Elena Blinovskaya. At the moment, its debt to the Federal Tax Service is 1.35 billion rubles.
This money was counted for her after tax fraud was revealed, which later began to be called the “Blinovskaya scheme” in the media. To get rid of cosmic debt, the blogger resorts to a variety of methods.
The easiest way is to simply pay off the debt. Blinovskaya began to pay, but at the moment she has only managed to pay 140 million rubles. Since April, her family’s property has gone on sale. In particular, the media reported that a two-story mansion with an area of two thousand square meters, located in Istra, near Moscow, could go under the hammer. Its approximate cost is 920 million rubles.
And an orange Lamborghini Urus, purchased by a blogger in 2021, appeared on a car sales website. The owners estimated the cost of the car at 38 million rubles.
In parallel with this, back in December last year, Blinovskaya filed a lawsuit against the Federal Tax Service No. 6, in which she demanded that the decision to hold her accountable for committing a tax offense be invalidated. The litigation continues to this day, but so far the court is on the side of the tax authorities.
In addition, according to reports on the Internet, in April, the blogger’s husband, Alexey Blinovsky, went to serve under a contract in the Northern Military District zone and, among other things, allegedly invested 50 million rubles in the purchase of UAVs for the Russian army. It seems that the married couple hoped to use this circumstance in court to change the preventive measure for the “queen of marathons” in order to return Elena Blinovskaya to house arrest.
Now Blinovsky has been put on the federal wanted list, and a claim has been registered in the Arbitration Court to declare him bankrupt. The reason is a debt in the amount of 7 million 636 thousand rubles, which he does not give to the bank.
Yuri Dud**
A disgraced blogger who left for permanent residence in Spain Dud**I almost completely said goodbye to life in Russia. He prepared thoroughly for his departure: he closed the individual entrepreneur and transferred the “vDud” brand to his Spanish company Butovo Production SL, which appeared at the end of May 2022 and, according to the report of the Spanish regulator, operates as an advertising agency.
In addition, Dud** sold all his property in Russia: an apartment with an area of 50 square meters, located on the attic floor of the Danilovskaya Manufactory residential complex, next to the Tulskaya metro station; two-story country house – a dwelling with an area of 315 sq. m on a plot of 12 acres in Scandinavian minimalism with panoramic windows in the elite communal enterprise “Synergy”, which is in New Moscow. In addition, the former journalist sold his Hyundai and checked out of his father’s apartment.
Compared to his fellow debtors, Yuri Dud looks like a happy man. His tax debt in Russia now amounts to only 2.5 thousand rubles.
