Everything’s wrong in Danish kingdom Bratsk after summing up the election results for the mayor of the city. And if, with the resignation of honorary colonel Serebrennikov and the assumption of office by a hot young man, it turns out that United Russia Alexandra Dubrovina everything is clear, then the definition of the main thing in the legislative body of a northern city is, literally, a scandal upon a scandal.
The Bratsk City Duma was elected in the same year. Several large coalitions competed in the election race for the seats of people’s representatives. But, undoubtedly, the main distinguishing feature of these groups is the attitude towards the work of the now former mayor Sergei Serebrennikov. Loyalists and oppositionists in relation to Honorable’s team squabbled to the last. And after the end of the election battles and the clear victory of the winds of change, they completely quarreled within their own company.
Thus, by mid-September, information resources that actively supported Dubrovin and his team on the election field “changed their shoes on the fly”, opposing his own proposed candidacy for the post of speaker of the fraternal city duma Olga Yankova.

For Yankova, this convocation is the second in her parliamentary work, the second from United Russia. In the protégé, they impose on the deputy the current deputy of the Legislative Assembly, Eduard Demin, and emphasize that this is a candidacy agreed upon and proposed by him. However, Dubrovin became the official initiator. This means Yankova’s election to the post of speaker is a scenario he approves of. Submissive, uncomplaining.
Behind the frontier of “popular adoration” from Edr was his own employee – the executive secretary of the Bratsk city branch of the party Tamara Zakharova. An ardent party supporter for a long time and sincerely did not hide her contempt for Mayor Serebrennikov and in this year’s election race she opposed her formal leader (Serebrennikov is still the secretary of the local party branch).
Tamara ZakharovaZakharova is the undisputed leader of a certain group of fraternal activists, who knows how to lead the people. And in 2024, she, without hiding, led him in favor of Dubrovin. And after the elections it turned out to be unclaimed – the paid position of speaker of the Duma was given to someone else. Has the Moor done his job?
Moreover, just yesterday, channels affiliated with Dubrovin openly mixed Zakharova with… dirt. Noting that she forgot about party subordination, abandoning Serebrennikov to serve her interests.
Activist Arkady Nesterenko was also left out. The entrepreneur firmly announced his personal refusal to become speaker, without directly stating the reason, but citing the impossibility of holding a municipal position. Without looking closely, one could say: an honest entrepreneur, not ready to formally transfer his enterprises and foreign financial papers to his inner circle. But honestly.
Arkady NesterenkoNesterenko, in exchange for renouncing his claims to the post of speaker, was given the post of chairman of the United Russia faction. And this despite the fact that he himself left this faction in the last convocation, opposed a number of decisions of the local cell and, in general, was a kind of “Baba Yaga against” local bottling. But what a needle in Serebrennikov’s soft spot!
But the vertical of power in the northern capital of the region is already being outlined. The key persons are clear and all of them are controlled by Alexander Dubrovin or (like Zakharova) uncontrollable by anyone other than their own ambitions and conclusions.
At the same time, speculation continues about the nomination of another Dubrovin protege, Elena Kryzhanovskaya, to the post of mayor of the Bratsk district. This is no longer clanism – it is almost a split in the region and the creation of a separate independent volost, where there is only one leader. And this leader is not a person at the regional level.
